DES AIRS D’AVENTURES -  TUNISIA 2005

 

 

 

The Paramotor raid “Des Airs d’Aventures” is a friendly meeting of paramotorists that will take place from 06 to 17 November in the south of Tunisia .. The total absence of competition will limit the risks if you compare with the related ones faced in these disciplines ; Nevertheless, each participant must comply and accept the attached rules and security measures, and always remember that the trip will take place in various sites and sometimes unfriendly (mountains and desert) Taking part to the raid “Des Airs d’Aventures” needs a minimum specific preparation and adequate equipment.

 

Enrolment :

 

Each participant should have filled (being as clear as possible) dated and signed his enrolment form. In case of cancellation from a participant after registration, the payment on account will be kept to cover the expenses. To 30 days before departure and only for a major and good reason, the balance can be put aside to be used for a next operation but not returned. At 30 days or less, no refund or reuse can be done or undertaken. For security reasons, the organizer has the right to limit the number of participants

 

Supervision/ Decision :

 

The organization is directed by a technical supervisor who is the only one able to decide for the planned activities depending on conditions and parameters (weather or others).

 

Program / Transport :

 

“Des Airs d’Aventures” raid schedule is not contractual which means that it can be modified without prior notice depending of the situation. The organization is not responsible of forwarding of persons or flying machines involved (plane, Air arrival and return) until the departure base planned on Jerba General schedule

 

Responsibility :

 

While the organization, will not impose at any time, to take any risk, each participant is personally responsible for what can happen to him, engage himself not to proceed against the organizer, in case of accident, incident, loss or theft.

Any loss of travel ticket, documents or identification papers will be at the concerned person expense and charge

 

Insurance/Documents :

 

Each participant has to make insurance for his equipment (personal, civil responsibility and obligatory individual repatriation one for the whole period of the raid). All participants must have, all the time necessary documents in order to comply with the Tunisian and International laws (passport, licenses, insurance, flying machines identification cards, aeronautical certificate, etc …).

 

Assistance :

 

Each pilot will be assisted by a 4x4 vehicle prepared and equipped will all what is needed in desert areas. A 4x4, depending on its capacities can assist several machines (3 or 4).

All participants should have mobile phones, a VHF radio tuned on 142.00 Mhz in working condition and a first-aid kit. In case of an incident or a breakdown of a machine, assistance will be provided. Each participant has the obligation of rescuing any other person in difficulty, until the arrival of his assistance vehicle or the organizer’s vehicle. The use of GPS is highly recommended.

 

Abandon :

 

In case of serious damage to a machine, the pilot can finish the raid as accompanying person . the organizer will not provide replacement machines .

 

Services provided/enrolment :

 

·                General organization and technical follow up of the raid “Des Airs d’Aventures” by the Association Chocs Aventures and the company Tamaris voyages

·                Navigation documents : roadbooks and maps

·                Fuel for machines (super 98)

·                Administrative help with customs formalities at Jerba airport

·                Accommodation : 3 star hotel in double bedrooms

·                Bivouac, breakfast and dinners at hotels
